At our North East Wedding Venue Ellingham Hall, our Award-Winning Executive Head Chef and his team of culinary creatives, pride themselves and providing scintillating food and drink, prepared using the highest quality local and seasonal ingredients and inspired with a taste of Northumberland.

Discover our range of delicious menus which include the night before catering, canapés, 3 course wedding breakfast, rustic evening food, optional extras and hearty breakfast options. All these choices mean we have every aspect of your bespoke experience covered.

An impressive collection of drinks including the famous Alnwick Gin and Rum are served from our House bar during the night before celebration and from the Chapel bar on the wedding day.

Alongside our bars, there is a carefully selected wine list from which you can pair the perfect wine with your meal, or simply sip a chilled sauvignon on the terrace.

If cocktails are on your list, we can shake things up for your drink’s reception or cake and cocktail hour after your wedding breakfast to really get the evening started. Our new cocktail range is now available for your guests to purchase over the bar throughout our two night wedding experience.

What a beautiful venue! Me and my partner just got married at Ellingham and we could not have chosen a better venue. From booking the venue, to our special day everything was just amazing. Staff have been so great with us and were always there to answer any questions we had leading up to our day. Our special day ran smoothly thanks to all the staff here and all the staff were just so nice from start to finish. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was and how amazing the staff had been with everyone. We cannot thank everyone there enough for helping to make our day so special.

As soon as we walked through the doors at Ellingham hall we knew it was going to be our venue, we looked at a few others but always found ourselves comparing them back to Ellingham hall, it had everything we could’ve asked for.
The staff were all amazing throughout from the planning process to the big day, Wendy had us at ease through it all and had all the answers to all our daft questions.
Everyone who came had commented on how lovely the venue is, how fantastic the staff are and how amazing the food was the entire time we were there

Ellingham Hall really is the perfect wedding venue. It has everything you need for a memorable wedding experience. The exclusive wedding package created the perfect 3 day experience for us and our guests. As we and some guests had travelled from Australia, it allowed us to maximise the amount of quality time we spent with our closest family and friends to celebrate our wedding. Those staying in the Hall loved their rooms and constantly complimented the venue and the staff.

Throughout our stay, from start to finish. The staff worked so hard. Always calm, well organised, with someone always on hand if needed. Staff constantly and discreetly clearing glasses, plates and guest debris, the rooms always stayed looking plush. On the Big Day, on hand to keep everything running on time and on track. Food service from walking the room with canapés to serving Wedding breakfast and Friday morning breakfast was spot on and professional from a well managed young team.

We arrived on Wednesday afternoon, a very easy and smooth arrival process. Bar was open for the arrival of guests. Rooms were all well appointed with all your tea, coffee needs. We had a great barbecue style evening family buffet with all the guests. Plentiful and tasty. The sitting area near the bar had the bride and grooms playlist in the background for us to enjoy and chat over. The den was used by several guests through to the early hours! . We started Thursday morning with Sausage sandwiches which were great. Bar opened at 11:30 for a swift one before the main event. The room was perfect for the ceremony. Excellent canapés served with a drink whilst the photographs got underway. Wedding breakfast, served in the Chapel again superb quality. We then had a break with a cocktail hour. The mojitos were great. Our evening entertainment started at 7pm for first dance. We had a short break at 9pm to build burgers before we partied on till midnight. Friday morning, Full English breakfast. Again super quality.
