Once a Roman Catholic Chapel dating back to 1897, our grand Chapel exudes classical elegance entwined with history and is bathed in natural light from the large ornamental stone windows.
Let this magnificent space be the perfect canvas to your unforgettable ceremony or wedding breakfast, before transforming into a fabulous evening party for you and your guests.
The Chapel is one of five unique wedding ceremony spaces at Ellingham Hall.
Full of history and grandeur, it offers the perfect indoor civil ceremony setting for up to 140 seated guests.
With original stone architecture and a vaulted ceiling, the Chapel is filled with neutral tones that allow you to easily add your personal touches before saying I do.

Our Chapel hosts your elegant wedding breakfast for up to 140 guests.
Choose from a variety of seating arrangements including a round, long or sweetheart top table, positioned in front of the large fireplace or beneath the original stone windows.
Crisp white table linen and a glistening array of glassware and silverware cutlery, are all included within your wedding pricing, so that’s one less thing for you to worry about.

The evening reception is one of the most fun parts of a wedding day. The veils of formality are lifted, and everyone can let their hair down and celebrate the happy couple.
By night the Chapel transforms into an incredible party space for up to 180 evening guests.
Enjoy your first dance under a canopy of festoon lighting and keep the drinks flowing from our Chapel Bar whilst you all dance the night away.

This comfortable lounge is yours to enjoy on your wedding day. Ideal for smaller outdoor ceremonies of up to 60 guests and for family and friends to relax with drinks in the sun, before heading down for the evening reception.

Our Chapel Bar is open to enjoy throughout your wedding breakfast and evening reception, without your guests having to leave the room.
The bar leads out onto the serene Chapel Terrace, a perfect space for alfresco dining the night before and outdoor drinks during the warmer months.
Ours bars are well stocked with a range of beers, wines and spirits, sourced locally and from around the globe.

At Ellingham Hall you remember everything, from the beautiful quirky venue which has retained its historic features, the friendly staff, great service and the delicious food and amazing coffee! The meeting room had good light and was the perfect size for our event. It was lovely to have use of the comfortable reception rooms too for breaks and lunch. What a beautiful venue! Me and my partner just got married at Ellingham and we could not have chosen a better venue. From booking the venue, to our special day everything was just amazing. Staff have been so great with us and were always there to answer any questions we had leading up to our day. “I booked a lunch party at Ellingham Hall for a very discerning group comprising of generous supporters of a local charity. We were 27 people and we enjoyed a Champagne reception before a delicious three course lunch. Wendy and her team could not do enough for us, our every request was granted. Dietary requirements were very efficiently and creatively dealt with and the result was a most enjoyable event at a price I was very satisfied with. I would definitely use Ellingham Hall again for a function like this.”
