Two Night Wedding Experience

The Night Before…

The night before is the first special step of your Two Night Wedding Experience at Ellingham Hall. Use this evening to relax with guests in the secluded Northumberland countryside. Enjoy drinks followed by a choice of hot dishes, a sizzling barbecue menu or graze on some delicious sharing boards, prepared by our award-winning Executive Head Chef and his team.

Younger wedding guests will be thoroughly entertained as they explore our rustic treehouses. For those slightly older, our underground entertainment den with its own built in music system, is perfect for a game of pool or table football before guests rest their heads in our boutique bedrooms.

The Morning Of…

With two wedding suites to choose from in our luxury accommodation, you can both stay separately the night before. After a peaceful sleep, wake up to a tasty breakfast and start your wedding day right.

Our spacious suites have plenty of room for pre-ceremony preparations. Get ready with your maids in the lavish dressing room in Lady B’s Wedding Suite. Or say cheers with your wedding party from the comfort of the Ellingham Suite.

Saying I Do

The Ellingham Estate is the perfect place to say I do, offering five ceremony spaces for up to 140 guests.

Walk down our grand staircase and really make an entrance into our indoor ceremony room or impressive Wedding Chapel.

Or have the dream outdoor wedding in our idyllic country estate. Enter from our west garden for a picturesque front lawn ceremony, or for smaller intimate ceremonies ‘under the hollies’ provides the perfect woodland backdrop.

For something a bit different, impress your guests with amazing views of the stunning Northumberland coastline, whilst you tie the knot on our rooftop ceremony space.

Drinks Reception

Appear, hand in hand, from your wedding ceremony, and transition with ease to your drinks reception. Celebrate a bespoke drinks menu including beers, cocktails, champagne all tailored just for you.

Our outdoor reception spaces are perfect for mingling with guests whilst you soak up the summer sun, enjoying Pimm’s and canapes on the lawn. Or for those colder months, indulge with mulled cider in front of the crackling fires in our two homely reception rooms.

Capturing those first Moments

Ellingham Hall creates a unique experience for every couple during their romantic photoshoot.

With the bountiful beautiful locations, you can capture your first moments as newlyweds in breath-taking settings. Secluded in Northumberland woodlands, surrounded by natural streams and waterfalls you will be able to capture beautiful moments together that last a lifetime.

Wedding Breakfast

Our Chapel is the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast, seating up to 140 guests. Enjoy your first meal as a married couple, prepared with love and the highest quality ingredients, locally sourced from the Northumberland countryside.

Our award-winning Executive Head Chef and his team offer a wide variety of dishes, so you choose your menu to really reflect your tastes. Relax into your wedding experience as we take the stress away and whisk you and your guests into cheers, toasts and celebrations.

Before the wedding day, you will have the chance to celebrate early as we invite you to our food tasting evening to select your own bespoke 3-course menu.

Cake and Cocktails

Now filled with energy and laughs its time to move onto the next exciting part of your Two Night Wedding Experience. Enter our luxury reception rooms and keep the love flowing as you sip on cocktails, handpicked by you both, from our divine menu.

Capture the special moment where you and your spouse cut the wedding cake in front of all your loved ones. Then proudly display the delicious sweet treat on top of our grand piano or in the lavish Drawing room.

Evening Reception

A breath-taking day then flows into a magical night as your evening reception begins, for up to 180 guests. Enjoy your first dance under a canopy of festoon lighting and keep the drinks flowing from our Chapel bar whilst you dance the night away to your favourite band.

Explore all the outdoor spaces Ellingham Hall has to offer as guests can chill on our rooftop lounge, toast marshmallows on the firepit or be snapped enjoying a sparkler reception.

To make sure the evening is designed just for you, we also offer late night tasty rustic food to keep your guests celebrating all night long.

Extend the Party

When a wedding day has been this good we wouldn’t want it to end either! That’s why at Ellingham Hall, we offer the option to extend your evening reception beyond midnight.

As the party continues, let your guests discover our secret underground After Dark Party Chamber. With a built-in music system, customisable lighting and of course beers and bubbles, you can keep enjoying a wedding night that is truly your own.

Together at Last

As the night draws to a close with your guests, there is still magic in store for you. Retreat away to the Ellingham Suite as a newly married couple and savour this memorable night.

Reminisce over the last 2 spectacular days as you cosy up in your very own hot tub and fall asleep in each other’s arms.

The Morning After

After 2 nights of wedding celebrations, finish your wedding experience with a well-deserved full English breakfast in our beautiful Chapel. With a late morning checkout at 11am, you will have plenty of time to catch up and say goodbyes.
