We can provisionally hold a date for 5 days, to give you the opportunity to book your wedding ceremony with the Registrar or your chosen Church.
A 20% non-refundable deposit of the venue hire and accommodation charge will secure your chosen date.
The wedding day food and drink spend (catering invoice) is due circa 6 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Minimum numbers do not apply, just a minimum spend.
Public holidays, Christmas, New Year and bank Holiday dates are charged at Saturday Peak price. Early check in, late departures and additional nights’ accommodation may be available (subject to availability – priced on request).
What a beautiful venue! Me and my partner just got married at Ellingham and we could not have chosen a better venue. From booking the venue, to our special day everything was just amazing. Staff have been so great with us and were always there to answer any questions we had leading up to our day. Our special day ran smoothly thanks to all the staff here and all the staff were just so nice from start to finish. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was and how amazing the staff had been with everyone. We cannot thank everyone there enough for helping to make our day so special.

“The hall catered for everything we needed, from the luxury entrance rooms, to the grounds outside, which we used to talk with clients in more detail afterwards. It was exactly what we wanted to allow us to host a presentation of this size. Guests were welcomed with a selection of drinks and canapés in the entrance hall and then again on departure. The seminar itself took place in the Chapel, while the dining room and drawing room provided the perfect spaces clients to relax.

Ellingham Hall is the most stunning venue, and we knew it was the one for us the moment we stepped inside. We travelled around 3 hours in search of the perfect venue, and after a long search without finding “”the one,”” Ellingham instantly stood out. The staff are absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to help us create the most perfect day, and it truly was perfect. We honestly can’t thank them enough. From recommending suppliers (since we lived further away), to answering all our questions, to helping us set up for the big day, they were always there for us. We loved that Ellingham is a two-night wedding venue and that it’s exclusively yours during your stay, which made everything feel so personal and intimate. One of our favourite touches was the Poochie Parlour, our dogs are a huge part of our lives, so having a space for them meant everything to us. We’re really hoping they host another Dine & Stay around Christmas or Valentine’s, any excuse to go back! All our guests had such lovely things to say about the staff and the Hall itself. We had always hoped for an autumnal wedding with a country feel, so when we visited Ellingham Hall, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Throughout the whole process the team were fantastic. The night before and the morning of our wedding Wendy and David took care of everything, allowing us to make the most of our special day. Our guests all commented on how lovely the venue and food were. We also have to add a special mention for Ellingham’s recommended suppliers, who were amazing and worked directly with Ellingham to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible.

“I have hosted seminars for over 30 years, all over the country at various well-known venues. At Ellingham Hall you remember everything, from the beautiful quirky venue which has retained its historic features, the friendly staff, great service and the delicious food and amazing coffee! The meeting room had good light and was the perfect size for our event. It was lovely to have use of the comfortable reception rooms too for breaks and lunch. I was very impressed with the extra spaces such as the basement games room and rooftop networking terrace. It is a hidden jewel in the North-East and I am planning to return soon for a private family event”
