Welcome to Ellingham Hall’s ground floor, where elegance and charm are interwoven with modern day luxury.

From the impressive Entrance Hall you can explore the adjoining Drawing Room, romantic Ceremony Room and welcoming Grand Staircase with House Bar.

The historic 19th century Chapel provides a unique backdrop for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.

Head underground, where the After Dark and Den are perfect for fun times with after-midnight celebrations.

First Floor

The first floor offers a selection of distinctive and beautifully styled bedrooms.

Find Lady B’s Suite – one of our lavish wedding suites, where you can relax and get ready on the wedding morning.

The charming Children’s Wing ensures comfort for families or friends sharing.

The spacious Duke’s Room and Duchess Chamber, along with the richly decorated Companions Room and authentically styled Victorian Room, all offer their own unique atmosphere.

Second Floor

The second floor features the grand Ellingham Suite, our wedding suite where couples can enjoy their first night together on the private rooftop hot tub terrace.

Alongside it are the charming Butler’s Wing which is perfect for families, Cook’s Room, Laundrymaid’s Room, and Kitchen Maid’s Room – all filled with the rich history of the Hall.

Ascend further to the Tower Room, which offers a peaceful hideaway with beautiful views across the estate.

“The hall catered for everything we needed, from the luxury entrance rooms, to the grounds outside, which we used to talk with clients in more detail afterwards. It was exactly what we wanted to allow us to host a presentation of this size. Guests were welcomed with a selection of drinks and canapés in the entrance hall and then again on departure. The seminar itself took place in the Chapel, while the dining room and drawing room provided the perfect spaces clients to relax.

The exclusive wedding package created the perfect 3 day experience for us and our guests. “I have hosted seminars for over 30 years, all over the country at various well-known venues. At Ellingham Hall you remember everything, from the beautiful quirky venue which has retained its historic features, the friendly staff, great service and the delicious food and amazing coffee! The meeting room had good light and was the perfect size for our event. It was lovely to have use of the comfortable reception rooms too for breaks and lunch. I was very impressed with the extra spaces such as the basement games room and rooftop networking terrace. It is a hidden jewel in the North-East and I am planning to return soon for a private family event”

What a beautiful venue! Me and my partner just got married at Ellingham and we could not have chosen a better venue. From booking the venue, to our special day everything was just amazing. Staff have been so great with us and were always there to answer any questions we had leading up to our day. Our special day ran smoothly thanks to all the staff here and all the staff were just so nice from start to finish. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was and how amazing the staff had been with everyone. We cannot thank everyone there enough for helping to make our day so special.
