Roxoa Group, which owns a group of leading online jewellery stores, needed to find a photoshoot location venue for their luxurious jewellery brand QP Jewellers.
And after searching for “North East Exclusive Use Venues”, they discovered Ellingham Hall in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.
Upon viewing, the Roxoa team were certain it would provide the perfect backdrop for the campaign.
This was Roxoa Group’s first time using our exclusive use venue and Leanne Radford, Head of Marketing, said, “We were delighted to hire Ellingham Hall for our summer campaign, and we loved it! It’s still one of my favourite photoshoots to date.”
Roxoa Group loved the venue so much, they decided to ‘dry hire’ the venue again for another photoshoot in July 2023. This time, it’s for a Christmas campaign. We caught up with Leanne to find out how she found the experience.
Why did you decide to use Ellingham Hall again?
When putting together the creative brief for the campaign, it was a no-brainer for us to use Ellingham Hall again. For Christmas, we wanted to create a high-end, editorial and affluent feel and we knew Ellingham Hall would deliver. The versatile spaces, the beautiful furnishings and rich textures and the amount of space available for us to use made it a perfect fit.
Tell us about the spaces you used for the shoot.
We used Lady B’s Suite because of the variety of backdrops and furniture available in the room. From the large (and very comfortable!) bed and the fabric tapestry behind it, to the stunning bay window with floods of natural light and the ornate fireplace: there was so much opportunity!
We also used the Entrance Hall and Drawing Room to make the most of the opulent décor within these spaces. They helped create a more atmospheric yet cosier feel through the darker walls and the range of fabrics/textures in these spaces.
We also made the most of the beautiful grounds for our campaign as well as additional social media content, when the weather behaved!
What was your experience of the Venue and Team?
Overall, it was a great experience, and we would happily use Ellingham Hall again, the venue is everything we hoped for and the team were fantastic. Very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed during our time at the venue. Nothing was too much trouble.
Would you recommend Ellingham Hall as a Photoshoot Location?
Absolutely. We would love to shoot here again in the future and work with Lynn and the team at their sister venue Lemmington Hall – it looks equally as luxurious and premium!

We were 27 people and we enjoyed a Champagne reception before a delicious three course lunch. Wendy and her team could not do enough for us, our every request was granted.
