Wedding & Event Supervisor

You will play a key role in ensuring every event runs seamlessly. You’ll be the go-to person on the day, supporting the Operations Manager and leading the operational team and liaising with clients to guarantee their vision is brought to life.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee smooth delivery of Weddings & Events from start to finish.
  • Act as main point of contact for clients on the day, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Supervise and motivate the events team, including casual staff.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and all departments to meet timelines and standards.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and guest experience throughout the venue.
  • Cash up at the end of each event day, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a passion for hospitality and events.

  • Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in weddings/events or hospitality supervision.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

Bar/Waiting Staff

We are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to join the Front Of House team here at Ellingham Hall to deliver the exceptional customer service we are renowned for.

Your role will include:

Helping to set up for weddings & events

Serving food and drinks throughout our guests stay

Ensuring all guests have the best experience

As we are in a small rural village just off the A1 having your own transport is essential.

Part-time and Full-time roles available.

Evening and weekend work is required for this role.

House Keeping Assistants

We are looking for hardworking Housekeeping Assistants to join our team, to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, moping, dusting, and polishing. The main duties of the housekeeping team are to clean and prepare all bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas in the Hall to a high standard, ensuring that the venue cleanliness exceeds the expectations of our guests.
