After her marriage, she became Belinda Ann de Marie Haggerston Gadsden, keeping her connection to the heritage of the famous Northumberland family. The couple went on to have four daughters and Peter became known as a globe trotting trader, who was also the Lord Mayor of London between 1979 and 1980.
