“First of all, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the 3 best days of our lives. We can’t put into words how perfect our wedding was – thanks to you. Thank you for patiently answering all our questions, for thinking of every single detail, for picking up the phone a few days before the wedding, making sure we wouldn’t change our minds ???? For making us feel part of the Ellingham Hall family and for making our wedding day perfect.
We couldn’t have asked for more and can truly say it was more beautiful than we expected. You are an amazing team who made us feel so comfortable and allowed us to make memories we’ll never forget. When we were looking for a box to send the letter, cards, and flowers, we came across the box in which we received our wedding rings and it seemed like the perfect option to post everything. Again, thank you for making our day perfect!”
“Wow we don’t even know where to start, as you can imagine we have been in such a bubble ever since our big day. Our wedding day was everything we wished for and more. You guys are just amazing and we can’t thank you all enough, from our first day coming to view to the planning process to our big day, everything just ran so smoothly, you guys have been an absolute credit. Yous have helped us in so many ways. Yous have listened to everything we asked. And our day was beautiful because of that. Not only did we have the most amazing day, our guests did too, we have had so many comments back saying “it’s the best wedding I’ve ever been to” “that is how you do a wedding” “the staff were all amazing” “this venue is stunning” it’s just incredible, very overwhelming but we’ll be forever grateful for that. Big big thank you to you and David for being with us on the morning of our wedding making sure everything is running smoothly. Big big thank you to Alicia for all her help and support. And to every other Ellingham staff member present on our big day, thank you because without all of you guys we wouldn’t have had any of that! I wish we could just do it all again, it was perfect! “From first viewing Ellingham Hall on a virtual tour during lockdown to our wedding weekend the whole planning process was made so easy. Special thanks to Wendy for being so responsive to my many emails back and forth! Thank you to Charlotte and Charlie and the rest of the Ellingham Hall team who worked hard behind the scenes to make everything run seamlessly the whole weekend! We knew as soon as we visited Ellingham Hall it was the wedding venue of our dreams and even better that it could be exclusively ours for us to enjoy for the full weekend! Our guests absolutely loved it and we were all made to feel at home there for the entire time. The wedding breakfast food also got fantastic reviews from our guests with many saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We had the most amazing weekend at Ellingham Hall and wish we could relive it all again.”

“I have hosted seminars for over 30 years, all over the country at various well-known venues. At Ellingham Hall you remember everything, from the beautiful quirky venue which has retained its historic features, the friendly staff, great service and the delicious food and amazing coffee! The meeting room had good light and was the perfect size for our event. It was lovely to have use of the comfortable reception rooms too for breaks and lunch. I was very impressed with the extra spaces such as the basement games room and rooftop networking terrace. It is a hidden jewel in the North-East and I am planning to return soon for a private family event”

“The venue was immaculately presented and very welcoming. Easy to find just off the A1, with plenty of parking next to the meeting rooms and closer space to unload equipment. The area provided for breakout/coffee/lunch had plenty of room and was a relaxed environment, which gave delegates the chance to meet each other before the conference. The food and drink was plentiful, and of a good standard. The meeting room itself was well equipped and a nice size for our group, not to feel crowded, but also not lost as can happen in large rooms. The staff were on hand all day and happy to help with any of our requests.”

“To everyone at Ellingham hall. A massive thank you to you all for such an amazing day! From arriving on Wednesday Debbie and Charlotte looked after us right up to the moment we left. The day was absolutely perfect and was planned to perfection by the Ellingham team, our friends and family have commented on how lovely all of the staff were and could not of done more.
The food was amazing from the sharing boards the night before to the fish and chips we were eating cold at 1am! The venue has so much character and we fell in love with from the second we walked up the driveway on that very first visit.
Thank you all so much again for one of the best days of our lives, we want to relive it all over again!”
