“I have just returned from staying at the beautiful Cloister Cottage and have genuinely fallen in love with the place. We were charmed from opening the front door, the style and character of the cottage was overwhelming. The cottage had everything you could imagine, even a wide selection of board games, books, DVDs for all ages and a welcome hamper was a thoughtful touch. We had the most fabulous neighbours- peacocks, which we were all thrilled to meet. The children loved exploring the grounds which are breath-taking, we loved the stream, the woods and enjoying ‘leaf racing’ on the bridge. I was genuinely sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. I’ve travelled a lot and have to say this is one of the best holidays ever. Thank you for such a magical stay”

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the wonderful weekend we had in Cloister Cottage, it was just perfect! It was so well equipped and was lovely to be left the little welcome pack and bottle of wine.  We were visited every day by our little peacock friends, amongst others. It’s such a lovely peaceful and remote venue, just my cup of tea! I was disappointed we could not look around the main Hall due to a private wedding celebration, but I will certainly let you know if I am in the area again. I think they have so much going for them that other self-catering properties don’t. It’s a home from home, with washing machine, ironing board and a fully equipped kitchen.  Not having to bring all those little things that I usually take just in case (i.e. tea towels, washing up liquid etc.) is a big plus for me.”
