General Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a General Maintenance Supervisor who is friendly, conscientious and an excellent team player with a positive can-do attitude.

This role is to support the day-to-day maintenance of Ellingham Hall and Lemmington Hall, together with their accommodation facilities and grounds.

You must have a skilled DIY and general maintenance background.

Full-time role £9.50-£11.00 per hour.

Your Day-to-Day Duties…

Undertake all repairs and reactive maintenance works as required, through liaison with Head of Maintenance.
Carry out all painting and decorating in the Hall to the highest of standards.
Maintain grounds and be confident in the use of mowers, strimmers and blowers.
Support regular in-house checks, i.e., water, lighting, fire alarms, logging all in house checks in the appropriate maintenance files.
Work on other Ellingham Partnership projects when they arise.
Operate, store, and maintain all maintenance equipment and tools and ensuring they are kept in good working order.
Provide an on-call service to the Hall when required.

Wedding and Events Coordinator

We’re looking for a Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our award-winning team at Ellingham Hall.

As the business continues to grow and with a bumper number of weddings booked for 2022 and 2023, as well as a new venue launching next year, this is an exciting time to join a team who really value teamwork and customer service above all else. We want an individual who is as in love with the wedding industry as we are!

This exciting role includes planning and coordinating superior weddings and events at Ellingham Hall whilst providing an outstanding customer experience for our couples and their guests.

This is a full-time role which includes weekend work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required, and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Bar/Waiting Staff

With a record-breaking year ahead, we’re looking for experienced, friendly and customer-focused individuals, with a real love for the events industry.

Working front of house on wedding days, you’ll be responsible for everything including; welcoming guests, serving drinks and ultimately delivering the first-class customer service Ellingham is renowned for.

House Keeping Assistants

We are looking for hardworking Housekeeping Assistants to join our team, to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, moping, dusting, and polishing. The main duties of the housekeeping team are to clean and prepare all bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas in the Hall to a high standard, ensuring that the venue cleanliness exceeds the expectations of our guests.

The key to our success at Ellingham, is the wonderful team who work hard behind the scenes, delivering the magical moments helping to make unforgettable memories. Despite being a small team, we’re known for our multi-award-winning levels of customer service. Putting couples and their guests at the heart of all we do, Ellingham is so much more than your average country house wedding venue.

‘Debbie, I just wanted to thank you so so much for everything you did in the run up and on the wedding day. It really does fly over doesn’t it! All our guests were really impressed with the food, especially all our veggies or guests with dietary requests. They all said the veggie’s are usually forgotten about or not given as good of an option, but they really felt included and looked after both days. The non-alcohol drinking guests really appreciated this option too! My mum wanted to thank you so much for the wedding morning as well, helping her out with the balancing act of registrar and mother of the bride – she did amazing! I also wanted to thank Charlotte for her amazing organization and commitment the night before and on the wedding day. She did an amazing job, just knew what needed doing, suggested better ways of doing things and just put me at ease. Ruth too- she was super helpful, especially the night before the wedding when I still wasn’t quite with it/stressed. I really wish Ellingham all the best for the future – it’s changed quite a lot since we originally booked, all for the better and we had an amazing day. The outdoor spaces are amazing – our guests loved the fire pit and being able to have the drinks reception outside was perfect.’
