Wedding and Events Coordinator

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our award-winning team at Ellingham Hall.

As the business continues to grow and with a bumper number of weddings booked for 2024 and 2025, as well as our new sister venue operating this year, this is an exciting time to join a team who really value teamwork and customer service above all else. We want an individual who is as in love with the wedding industry as much as we are and can provide an outstanding customer experience for our couples and their guests.

This exciting and dynamic role requires the ability to build strong and effective working relationships whilst planning and coordinating superior weddings and events at Ellingham Hall.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year | Full-time role, includes weekend work.

Wedding and Events Supervisor

As Wedding and Events Supervisor, you are required to support the daily running of all things Front of House, ensuring that all areas within your remit are kept to an excellent standard and be able to confidently deliver a range of events. Working closely with the Assistant General Manager to ensure we exceed expectations of our couples and guests. Your role will include supporting the food and beverage operation, but supervising the staff, their presentation, quality, and the style of service.

It is essential you have a positive and outgoing personality with vision, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. A friendly and flexible working style, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep calm under pressure are important attributes for this role. Excellent organisational and communication skills are also extremely important.

Main Duties –

  • Ensure excellent customer service by coaching staff on how to exceed guest expectations and take steps to identify and support training needs.
  • Deal promptly to resolve any minor guest issues.
  • Share responsibility for all financial issues e.g. the balancing of tills and floats.
  • Maintain high standards of venue hygiene/cleanliness and keep cleaning records up to date.
  • Support the ordering, rotation, storage and recording of all bar products, making sure that the items sourced are the best value.
  • To communicate and co-ordinate with the kitchen effectively.
  • Operate within the parameters of personal license.

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year | Full-time role, includes weekend work

Bar/Waiting Staff

With a record-breaking year ahead, we’re looking for experienced, friendly and customer-focused individuals, with a real love for the events industry.

Working front of house on wedding days, you’ll be responsible for everything including; welcoming guests, serving drinks and ultimately delivering the first-class customer service Ellingham is renowned for.

House Keeping Assistants

We are looking for hardworking Housekeeping Assistants to join our team, to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, moping, dusting, and polishing. The main duties of the housekeeping team are to clean and prepare all bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas in the Hall to a high standard, ensuring that the venue cleanliness exceeds the expectations of our guests.
